QSIT RUN & FUN<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Because the City of Ingolstadt cancelled the annual company run, QSIT promptly chose to inaugurate its own sports event \u2013 the QSIT RUN & FUN. In the late afternoon of Sept 25, the starting pistol was fired for the 5.2 km run around Ingolstadt\u2019s popular leisure lake. The weather was somewhat mixed, which shrank the size of the original group to six runners. This was more than compensated by the fans and family members who were on hand to provide the athletes with their full-throated support. After a \u201cRUN\u201d around the lake of around 30 minutes, Svetlana P\u00f6hlmann was the first to cross the finish line and win the RUN & FUN trophy. She was followed by Renata Baumann-Chybova and Alfonso Reitenspie\u00df, who took second and third place. The subsequent \u201cFUN\u201d part took place in the nearby Seehaus restaurant, where the runners and their families celebrated with plenty of good food and drink.<\/p>\n<\/div>

The company run is a tradition<\/strong><\/h3>\n

QSIT has been taking part in company runs regularly for the past four years. In June 2019, for instance, a large team from the IT specialists competed in glorious weather in the official Ingolstadt Company Run. Wearing sports shirts bearing the bright company colors, a few QSIT team members even made it to the front page of Ingolstadt\u2019s daily paper, the Donaukurier. One of them was QSIT CEO Dr. Henry Guzm\u00e1n, who is among the runners every year.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s just such good fun to take part in an event like this together as a team,\u201d says Henry Guzm\u00e1n. \u201cIt brings you together and it\u2019s good for our working atmosphere, not to mention our health. We have a great team spirit, which is also evident in the number of people from our team who always help organize events like these and who bring along many of their family members to cheer us on and celebrate with us. I always love that.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>
